Hello

 Darren is an engineer by trade with over 25yrs in the Waste and Resource industry delivering bespoke process engineering solutions.

He has a depth of experience in the AD, organic waste, energy from waste, recycling and renewables sectors. Having begun his career in construction and trained as a civil engineer he migrated into the waste and renewables sector working where he held roles from General Manager to Operations director.

​

Having developed his own consultancy some years ago he has been involved in delivering bespoke waste, environmental and process engineering solutions across multidisciplinary business units. From working with universities and institutional funders on pathfinder development programmes to start up business ventures providing impetus and direction to industry and commerce.

Darren is a trained WAMITAB assessor, health & safety professional and holds Chartered Manager status, Chartered Environmentalist and TechMCIWM.

​

As Operations Manager, Darren is responsible for the day-to-day operational management within BioConstruct NewEnergy whilst also covering the SHEQ aspects of the business.  

​

Darren is currently working on completion of his MBA. (when he has spare time).

 

His interests are riding his motorbike and enjoying time with the family and his two dogs on the beach and walking the Wainwrights in the lakes.
